Have you ever thought about doing the same thing for the Guitar Hero controller? I believe the Wii version uses the Wiimote as a communications tool, so you might be able to leverage a lot of Wiinstrument for that.

are there any plans to support the wii Balance Board? I have one and I was thinking that you could use it for hi-hat and kick drum while you concentrate the wiimote and nunchuck for the snare etc.
